Evolution of the UCCR dorms!

The new dorms are slowly coming together. This past weekend the reception, kitchen, gym & laundry opened. It's all looking very good.

Above you have the reception and a relaxation area. There's also another identical seating area just opposite the one pictured. Eventually they will be serving coffee and other beverages in this area. On the top picture you can also see the study room's which are located on the right side.

This is one of the kitchen units. There are four in total and they are all very well equipped. One has to pick up a key in the reception, in order to get the stove working. This is to be able to check up on who's using it and if it's properly cleaned after use.

This is the dishwashing area. There are 2 dishwashers, one microwave and also plenty of plates, glasses, cups and utensils.

This is the "restaurant", as it is called. Here you can enjoy whatever spunky dish you prepared.

Above you have the new gym. It has the basic machines and will be good enough for the "casual" gym goer. There has been some rumors that a few more machines will come.

It's Nespresso time !

Powder coffee? You've gone bananas! I've been bitten by the Nespresso bug. Ordered my Nespresso machine last week and I've been pushing that button since. First two days I was on a continuous caffein rush...my hands were shaking and I've never been so active in class (well guess the last point wasn't too bad). Yes, did I mention it's important with the correct cups and other utensils aswell? Think I am able to host my own coffee party now...so who's bringing the cake?

New Dorms!

Hello fans!

I'm back after a long summer break & 4 intensive months onboard the Seabourn Spirit. Just arrived back in brig for my last 3 bachelor terms. I will try to keep you updated on anything interesting going on! I will also see if I get the time to post some of my pictures from my adventurous summer.

Below are some pictures of my new room in the brand new school dormatories. I am really satisified with the result and I must say it's worth the extra money!
